\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDi Pusat Terapi Kanak-Kanak Istimewa, terdapat sebuah bilik deria yang dinamakan \u201cSnoezelen\u201d. Nama yang menarik ini merujuk kepada satu ruang terkawal yang menawarkan persekitaran berbilang deria. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tBilik deria boleh mengandungi pelbagai jenis peralatan dan bahan manipulatif yang melibatkan sistem deria yang berbeza seperti pendengaran, tekanan, penglihatan, dan sentuhan, antara lain.\n

\nBilik tersebut boleh digunakan untuk tujuan pendidikan, merangsang, menenangkan, atau memberi tenaga, sama ada sebagai pengalaman berbilang deria atau fokus deria tunggal, dengan hanya menyesuaikan pencahayaan, suasana, bunyi, dan tekstur mengikut keperluan pesakit pada waktu penggunaan.\n

\nBilik deria penting kerana ia menawarkan peluang tanpa had untuk rangsangan berasaskan deria, perubahan tahap kewaspadaan, dan interaksi sosial kepada pelbagai jenis pesakit, tanpa mengira keperluan individu masing-masing. Ia membantu memulihkan dan mengoptimumkan kekuatan, fungsi serta pergerakan. Ahli terapi bekerja dengan kanak-kanak untuk membangunkan kemahiran seperti berjalan dan keseimbangan melalui aktiviti seperti merangkak di dalam kolam bola.
